Recently under head coach Afshin Ghotbi Iran has played 4 friendly games against European club teams (Lazio of Italy one of them) and has had acceptable records (no defeat).
That’s look promising specially Iran’s last night match against Armenia in Armenia which ended with Iran’s victory 3-1. We should not get too proud of that and keep working hard for the Asian Football Cup coming soon. The results look promising even though Iran’s shortcomings in defense and offense should be rectified!
