Photo essay: Mossadegh and the 1953 coup d’état

I was reading some comments and noticed Faramarz had posted a link to a pictorial about Mossadegh and the 1953 coup.  I thought to post it as a separate blog so others can get a chance to go through the photo essay and the captions.

As you’ve noticed there have been a lot of discussions about this subject and often a picture speaks a thousand words and in this case several pictures chronicles the events and major milestones.  I found it interesting and hope you like it too.  There are several mouth filling names such as Batmanghlich or Khajenouri or others that you can use for your next cocktail dinner conversation!

The photo essay is a wall to wall chronology from Shah going to Italy for months to the Hague court and Mossadegh defeating British and a bunch of other stuff.  Perhaps JJJ can re-feature the photo essay again.  It’s not a bad idea to dust off old stuff from i.com and re-feature them again as other websites do.

Well without further ado, here is the Mossadegh photo essay.
