رخت شویی

تنها صدای ماشین رختشویی به جا می ماند

و رخت های من و تو

از یادهای خوشبوی شبانه تهی می شوند:

از بوی هیزم و نمناکی علف

از لکه های شراب روی پیراهن تو

و سرخی تمشک بر سرآستین من

از سرانگشت های شبنم بر سرشانه های تو

و نشان قهوه ای خاک بر تختِ پشت من

از غلت زدن زیر ستاره های کمرنگ

و ناگهان، گوی بزرگ و سرخ خورشید!

بگذار بچرخد و بچرخد

و رخت های ما درهم بیامیزند.

عشق را نمی توان آلود

و پیراهن آن

از سپیدی می درخشد.

این شعر یکی از دوازده شعری است که از سوی گروه ادبی “Writers at Work” در شهر لس آنجلس برای درج در تقویم رنگی سال 2011 برگزیده شده است. “شاعران تقویم” در ساعت 5 عصر یکشنبه دهم اکتبر 2010 در کتابفروشی “Sky Light”  در شماره 1818 خیابان Vermont شمالی شعر می خوانند و تقویم ها برای فروش عرضه می شوند.

WASHING

Only the sound of the washer remains
And our clothes are losing
Their fragrant nightly memories:
The scent of firewood and wet grass
The stains of wine on your blouse
And the blackberries on my cuffs
The fingertips of morning dew on your shoulders
And the brown mark of earth on my back
Rolling, rolling under the fading stars
And suddenly the big red ball of the sun!

Let it turn around, around
and mingle our clothes together.
Love is stainless
And its clean shirt
Always shines.
