October 23, a night to remember: Parisa Vaaleh

In case you have missed it, Iranian.com is about to have one of its most exciting musical events taking place in San Francisco on Saturday, October 23, 2010. The concert will be a marvelous collaboration of excellent performances by Iranian and non-Iranian artists. The amazing Saeid Shanbehzadeh Ensemble will be welcome into the Bay Area and on the stage of historic Herbst Theater by a group of talented and very special artists who live in the Bay Area. I will be introducing them to you one by one.

Parisa Vaaleh is a vocal artist with an amazingly rich and velveteen voice. She has worked with famous Iranian musicians both inside and outside Iran and has produced two musical albums already. She has mostly performed fusion music, using Persian melodies and non-Iranian instruments. The depth and breadth of her voice make Parisa a true singer, without gimmicks, and result in a well-suited and truly amazing vocalist to see onstage. She will be accompanied by other fantastic artists on October 23rd. I will be introducing those artists soon, too. You can listen to some of Parisa Vaaleh’s songs on her website here: http://www.vaaleh.com/

For now, take a look at Parisa Vaaleh’s profile and listen to her singing some of her songs a capella here:

Here she is performing impromptu at a Women’s Day rally:
