Iranian state media say funerals have been held for 39 people who were killed Wednesday when suicide bombers targeted a Shi’ite religious ceremony.
The IRNA news agency says Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammed Najjar led a high-ranking delegation in a funeral procession in Chahbahar, Friday. The news agency says eight victims were buried in the southeastern city while the bodies of the other victims were transferred to their provinces of origin.
