If I am ought to be inspired
If the poems are there
for me to catch a few
Let mine be only
the most heavenly
Let them fly on angels’ wings
Move the earth
be like brightest stars
There are those who say
a poet has to catch a poem
as it flies his or her way
In that case,
Send me only your best
Those which bring hope to masses
Help the lovers connect
Let me write a poem
which lets people imagine
an earth closer to the heaven
Spare me the mundane
That I can do on my own
Inspire me only with your best.
