The following review of the Oscar nominated movie “The Social Network” is filled with spoilers so for those of you out there who are still waiting with bated breath to view a film about Facebook with all its super exciting high jinks and surprise twists and suspenseful turns, please read no further.
Really? Mark Zuckerberg’s sole motivation for starting up a Billion dollar social and cultural Internet phenomena that eventually led to him being named as Time Magazine’s person of the Year is so he could impress this really hot girl who spurned him in college? Really?
Really? The line “Let’s get that nerd!” was not lifted by award-winning script “genius” Aaron Sorkin directly from one of those Revenge of the Nerds movies from the 80s? Really?
Really? Justin Timberlake had a major role in this movie? Really?
Really? Jesse Eisenberg deserved to be nominated for a Best Actor Oscar alongside Javier Bardem, Jeff Bridges and Colin Firth? Really?
Really? Computer geeks have hot, sex-crazed groupies? Really?
Really? It was important to make a Facebook movie at this stage of the game? Really?
