U.S. hikers in Iran get 8 years in prison

Tehran, Iran (CNN) — Two U.S. hikers detained in Iran on espionage charges have been sentenced to eight years in prison, state-run TV reported Saturday.

Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer each received five years for spying and three years for illegal entry, according to IRINN. They have have 20 days to appeal their verdict, it reported.
