Kahrizak, a small city, in the Rey county, province of Tehran, became infamous overnight after revelations of systematic Rape, torture & murderr of male and female detained Iranian pro democracy/pro reform demonstrators, during Iran’s anti government uprising in 2009, in the local detention centre. Kahrizak has since become a symbol of the criminal nature of the islamist regime of Iran. The 12 part documentary you are about to see was therefore named after it. The documentary however deals with not only Kahrizak detention centre events, but also the attrocities committed by the islamist regime upon it’s own citizens over the past 32 years.
