“Abu Simbel, EGYPT( 1/11/1975) : Shah of Iran (2nd L) and his wife, Queen Farah are accompanied by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Mrs. (Jihan) Sadat during a tour of ancient monuments and temples here on 1/11. The Shah, here on an official visit with his wife, joined Egypt on Nov 1st in calling for Israel’s total withdrawal from occupied Arab lands and affirming the “right of the Palestinian People to their homeland and the Arab character of Jerusalem.”
