Pahrnia Parsons was a rugby and cricket-loving tomboy, happiest in a comfy pair of jeans and a baggy jumper, but after ditching the look in favour of glamour to get back at an old flame she’s landed the Miss Asia UK beauty crown.
The next step for the half-Iranian 21-year-old, who shunned dolls and dresses as a youngster, is a tilt at the Miss England title this year.
And, Ms Parsons revealed, it all stemmed from a relationship gone wrong.
