With changes to rules and regulations governing top level domain names and their registration, it has become possible and relatively easy to get domain names with endings such as .IRAN or .PERSIAN. Basically all that’s needed is money; around $200K. Of that $185K is the application fee and the rest, lawyer fees!
Already companies such as Dell, Hermes, Pfizer, Ford and a lot more have filed their apps.
Having said that, it would be interesting to know what % of people would like to see and perhaps use domain names ending with .IRAN or .PERSIAN or maybe something similar.
