Rep. Anna Eskamani’s Office Organizing The First Ever Persian New Year Party In Florida Capitol

From the office of newly elected Representative Anna Eskamani…

Every year, millions celebrate Persian New Year, or Norooz (prounced “no-rooz”).

In Iran, the new year begins with the advent of spring, and most everyone in the country – not to mention the millions of Iranians and non-Iranians who celebrate the holiday elsewhere around the world – observe it by doing a deep clean of their homes, celebrating a season of new life, and wishing for good luck in the year ahead.

This year for the first time ever, we are bringing the Persian New Year to the Florida Capitol! Join us we share Persian food, music, and dance to all of Florida!

Save the date & time now, and stay tuned for more details (facebook page for the event)!
