Iran Female Taekwondokas Rank 1st In World Champs

Iran’s female taekwondo team ranked 1st while the country’s male taekwondo fighters stood in the 2nd place at the 2019 World Taekwondo Cadet Championships which was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Iranian female taekwondokas grabbed 6 gold medals as well as one silver medal.

Meanwhile, Iran’s male taekwondo team bagged one gold, one silver and 4 bronze medals.

Head coaches of Iran’s male and female taekwondo teams at the event were Mortaza Karimi and Azam Dorosti, respectively.

The 4th World Taekwondo Cadet Championships was held in the attendance of 550 athletes from 64 countries during August 7 – 10.

The Iranian female Taekwondo practitioner Sanaz Abbaspour defeated all her opponents in the 2019 World Cadet Taekwondo Championships underway in Uzbekistan’s capital of Tashkent to bag the -44kg category gold medal.
