What's left
... of the glory days

The Iranian
It is not too often (rare, in fact) that you see
photographs of ancient monuments featured in The Iranian. And there's
a reason for it. What remains of Iran's glorious past belongs to the past.
Better to deal with the present and think of the future.
But, who can deny it? Looking at these monuments
certainly does bring a wonderful feeling.
Kaveh Niazi grew up in Mashhad, Iran, and in Berkeley,
California. He has an abiding interest in the history and culture of the
Near East and of Iran especially.
He works in the semiconductor industry in Silicon
Valley but enjoys photographing archaeological sites.
