Mother Teresa was made for Lifetime Television as a part of the Intimate Portrait Series. It won A Gracie Award in 1997 by the Foundation of American Women in Radio and Television. The documentary follows Mother Teresa's life story from her early childhood in former Yugoslavia (Albania today) and takes us through her journey to Calcutta where she found herself confined within walls of a convent teaching geography [See: Interview with Shirin Bazleh].
