Tehran: press
TEHRAN, May 18 (AFP) -Police investigations have linked the Turkish
secret services to a bomb attack on Monday against a leading Greek-Cypriot
official visiting Tehran, a newspaper reported here Tuesday.
The bomb exploded just as the speaker of the Cyprus parliament Spyros
Kyprianou entered the grounds of the Cypriot embassy here, the hardline
daily Jomhuri Islami said.
The bomb caused damage but no one was hurt, the paper said, adding that
several people had been arrested.
One of those detained had confessed to having "links with the Turkish
secret services," it said.
