Soccer coach poll favors Hejazi
Sept 6, 1998 (Community of Iranian Soccer Fans website) - As you know, there was an Iranian Coach Poll being held at the Community of Iranian Soccer Fans website in the past two weeks. First let me thank you all for informing people about this event, followings are the finall results that were telefaxed to the Iranian Football Federation today:
520 people from around the world participated in this poll which was on the world wide web for exactly 2 weeks, here are the rankings of the coaches:
- Mr. Naser Hejazi (213 votes) 41% of the votes
- Mr. Heshmat Mohajerani (133 votes) 26% of the votes
- Mr. Ali Parvin (86 votes) 17% of the votes
- Mr. Bijan Zolfaghar-Nasab (68 votes) 13% of the votes
- Mr. Mansour Pour-Heidari (20 votes) 4% of the votes
Iranian Football Federation has already decided on the coach but since their chosen coach (Mr. Pour-heidari) has the least number of votes in our poll reporting these results my very well help them in making further decisions. These results can show the opinion of the Iranian Football-lovers living abroad and in Iran regarding the Head-Coach of the National Team.
