November 28, 1999: Front page of the online version of the Hamshahri newspaper in Tehran the day after Abdollah Nouri was sent to prison to serve a five-year sentence. A clerical court sentenced the prominent reformer for political and religious dissent. The Special Court for Clergy also shut down Mr Nouri's reformist newspaper, Khordad.
