Iranian President Mohammad Khatami gives a speech to a crowd of thousands
of Iranians during a ceremony to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the
Iranian revolution Friday, Feb. 11, 2000. Elections to the parliament are
scheduled for Feb 18. which are expected to be a heated battle between
reformists backing President Khatami and the hard-liners.
