Iran's top parliamentary candidate Mohammadreza Khatami shows a document
with the names of 109 candidates that have been elected so far belonging
to his party, the Islamic Iran Participation Front, during a news conference
in Tehran, Iran Tuesday Feb. 22, 2000. Khatami said today that the country
needs concrete action from the U.S. to lower the wall of mistrust between
the two nations.
