Photo of the Day National Majlis restoration In 1994 the old national parliament (Majlis) building at Tehran's Baharestan Square was virtually destroyed in a fire. This generated great attention and the Ministry of Housing decided to restore the historic building. These photos were published in Tavoos arts quarterly (Fall 1999) after the completion of the project.
