Welcome to
(the new) Bam

Arg-e Bam south of Kerman is an ancient deserted town and a favorite tourist attraction. Just next to it there is the Arg-e Jadid Bam built for new factories in the region, including a car assembly plant set up jointly with South Korea's Daewoo. The new town has everything to keep the settlers happy in the middle of the desert, including an artificial lake, horseback riding, swimming pool and sports gym, a private airport, and five-star hotel.
