* Iranian oil minister says production cuts could be extended
TEHRAN, Oct 10 (AFP) - Iran said Sunday that OPEC countries should maintain
their production cuts up to the agreed date of March 2000 and possibly
beyond it. "The recent price development indicates that the decisions
of OPEC to maintain its production ceiling at least up to the end of March
2000 was correct," said a statement issued here by Oil Minister Bijan
