Beirut (Football Asia) - The draw for the finals of the 12th Asian Cup has pitted together two of the region's superpowers, the defending champions Saudi Arabia and Japan, in the same group... Iran, winners of the Asian Cup in 1968, 1972 and 1976, were the nation with most to smile about after avoiding any of the big sides. Iran Sports Press - With video clip: Iran's Persepolis defeated South Korea's Samsung to clinch third place at the 19th Asian Club Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
