* Caspian Sea states should keep outsiders out: Khatami

TEHRAN, May 11 (AFP) - The Caspian rim states should cooperate to promote stability in the area, and not allow any foreign power to become involved, Iranian President Mohammad Khatami said Thursday in a speech reported by the official IRNA news agency. "The Caspian Sea belongs to the five countries bordering on it," he told naval cadets in the northern city of Noshahr, adding that Iran wanted friendship and peace with all the Caspian states, to ensure the region belonged to its "true owners." >>> FULL TEXT

* Emirati press accuses Iran of "stealing" in gas dispute

DUBAI, May 12 (AFP) - Iran's drilling operations in an offshore gas field subject to rival claims by Tehran, Riyadh and Kuwait amount to "stealing", Emirati newspapers charged Friday, adding that regional relations with Tehran should be reviewed. * Iran to award Darkhovin oil field deal in summer

TEHRAN, May 6 (Reuters) - Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said on Saturday he believed Italian energy giant Eni was the frontrunner to win a contract to develop Iran's huge Darkhovin oil field to be awarded soon.
