* War experiences for the theater, New Orleans

Kathy Randels is a theatre artist based in New Orleans whose work is extremely powerful and challenging, and has been very well received by critics and audiences. A solo show that she toured to San Francisco was hosted by Darvag Theatre for a special performance in Berkeley, and opened an Iranian connection. Since then she has been working in Belgrade with Dah Theatre on a project about the role of the artist in wartime, and has now recently started a collaborative theatre project on the Iran/Iraq war. She is hoping to meet Iranians (and Iraqis) living in the New Orleans area who are willing to talk about their experiences related to the war, and to participate in the project. You can reach her at krandels@hotmail.com.
