Revolution: 1979-1999 Hijacked Iranian airliner rests at the air terminal in Baghdad, Iraq, after its release Oct. 10, 1970. Three Iranians, demanding release of political prisoners, forced the plane to fly to Baghdad. The hijackers were arrested by Iraqi police. The plane later returned to Tehran, Iran.
