Toronto brothers peddle Pink Floyd in attempt to smash Iranian ‘Wall’

A Pink Floyd cover sung by Iranian brothers living in Toronto has become an anthem for young people in Iran dissenting against their government.

Viewed more than 110,000 times on YouTube, the music video for the song Another Brick in the Wall (Hey, Ayatollah, leave those kids alone!) has brought the band international attention and is providing background music for a protest movement in a country where playing rock music can get you arrested.

The band is called Blurred Vision, and musicians Sepp and Sohl — who refuse to have their last names published to protect family back home — said they’ve received messages from Iranians who say the song is being used as a form of protest.
