Googoosh’s hit TV show comes to an end this weekend when one of the three finalist is crowned the new Iranian idol. After 8 weeks of training, performing and being voted off, the run away hit show concludes its run on the new London based Manoto channel. The show which had a humbled beginning is now being followed by more than 18,000 people on facebook. It’s difficult to determine how many people are following in Iran, but in the last episode the host claimed, more than half a million votes were casted during the shows run.
