The winners of this year’s “Alternative Nobel” are Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh, Indigenous rights and environmental activist Lottie Cunningham Wren of Nicaragua, Belarusian pro-democracy activist Ales Bialiatski and the U.S. civil rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson.
