Nowruz: A Persian New Year Celebration

Ring in the Persian New Year at our tenth annual Nowruz celebration! With free attractions for all ages, this year’s festival is held in the Freer|Sackler and adjacent Ripley Center. Activities include:

• Haft sin table display
• storytelling by Xanthe Gresham
• calligraphy
• hands-on art activities
• live music
• food
• featured exhibitions: Engaging the Senses, Feast Your Eyes, and The Prince and the Shah: Royal Portraits from Qajar Iran
