Hafez jaan, BRAVO!!!!!
by Boomerang on Sun Aug 08, 2010 09:07 PM PDTI could not have said it any better!!!
Well done, ham-mihan! The Queen is as regal as ever and has more class in her royal big toe-nail than all the agents of the IRI and all its lefty lushkhor lackeys all put together!
You can take that to the bank!

Farah Pahlavi is my hero
by hafez on Sun Aug 08, 2010 08:55 PM PDTWe Iranians owe a lot to Farah Pahlavi. Where can we begin? Champion of women's rights, the arts, the poor, the sick, minorities, etc... I could go on for ever. She was instrumental in getting women into becoming cabinet members and judges. With very little money, she created an art collection for Iran that is worth billions of dollars now. Even today, she represents us with so much class. For those Iranians who always wonder how we ended up in such a sorry shape, let me tell you the answer is right here. We switched Ms. Farah Pahlavi with Ms. Batoul Khomeini. Enough said.

Shazde and Sargord BitterQajar
by Boomerang on Sun Aug 08, 2010 09:13 PM PDTShazde writes, "All the country was run by a legion of Qajar princes."
Yes, I know this, dear Shazde. Even Hoveyda's grandmother was a sister of Naser-e-din Shah or something (Ezzat-e-Dowleh). That doesn't change my opinion that when the Qajars were completely in charge, Iran was a third-rate bankrupt nation, rife with corruption and the equal of Zimbabwe or Bangladesh, in prestige, economy and everything else.
Sargord BitterQajar, yes of course, I know about your grandfather and your great grandfather and how they were royal "ministers" all those years ago, ergo your apt nickname (98% of the minsters at the time of Reza Shah were Qajar RETARDS). Shazde will back me up on this. Interestingly, the other 2% became staunch Marxists, for the simple reason that if they could no longer be kings and queens, no one should!!! That was their mentality. It's the truth. This is well known, insofar as the number of Qajar princes and princesses who joined the Tudeh party.
Jealous, incompetent, thieving RETARDS, almost all of them! That's the Qajars for you in a nutshell. The only capapble Qajar prince was Abas Mirza, Fath Ali Shah's son, but he was killed in battle against the Russians before the humiliating Treaties of Turkenchai and Golestan were signed.
Fath Ali Shah is rumored to have had 1,500 children!!! Just think, if the late Shah(pbuH) had been a lazy, self-serving pervert who spent all of his time in his haram, Reza Pahlavi would be king right now! The mullahs would have had no problem whatsoever with an absent, lazy king, but they sure hated an active modernizer!!!
Modernity = death of mullah influence

by Everybody Loves Somebody ... on Sun Aug 08, 2010 02:44 PM PDTof Iranian pride, dignity, and history have been destroyed, demolished, bloodied, and muddied either by the insiders and/or the outsiders.
Look at our nation, our religion, our culture, our international stature, our politics, our economy, our aberroo and heyseyat. We are one bankrupt nation and bankrupt group of people.
The only pride that we have left is this lady and her son. Why don't you take that away from us too? So much negative energy! When are we going to grow up?
Reza Pahlavi is a lot smarter than wanting to become another Shah to rule over another bunch of unappreciative and impossible group of people? Yes, he told me that personally!

It is good thing and gives us credibility when we are not automatically label others with the first instance of disagreement.
Having said that, I believe it is far from what she had said or even insinuated. And this comes from me that am far from a Monorch or RP supporter.

Reza and his daughters have

They are educated, bright and open minded and the best of all are more human than most of the other wanna be "the leaders of Iran". I agree, there is something extremely tasteless about this image
by Mehrban on Sun Aug 08, 2010 10:52 AM PDTI listened to her interview, she did not say anything about her son being king, she just said that she hopes for her children and grandchildren to be able to go to Iran someday. That is what she was hoping for, do you blame her for that?!
Truth
by Ferfereh on Sun Aug 08, 2010 09:53 AM PDTIf you want to discredit him, you'll be not successful in this manner. I have never ever heard him say that he is king or after Islamic regime monarchy must be established again in Iran. As far as I have heard him, he wants the people to decide what they want. Remember that you can't hide the truth and like Mullahs show people one side of everything, it is you who got the negative point.
Even by Pastor's low standards of patriotism
by pastor bill rennick on Sun Aug 08, 2010 09:38 AM PDTthis is way below the belt and it won't add any value to the debate on the welfare of Iran and Iranians at this juncture.
I mean if there is any negative thing people want to say about the late Shah and his family is one thing, but I doubt if you think anything is going to stick on Queen Farah as a bad person.
Why can't you see and take advantage of her unifying presence and potential?
Furthermore, look at the drooling faces of Q, SP, MN, and the rest of IRR thugs!
I wonder who coined the expression, "Iranians are self-destructive!"

Maybe, she is only a typical Eastern mother who is keeping his beloved son in a bubble.
Maybe then, he is the one who has to break free from that traditional, historical, outdated bubble in order to find his true role in life.
Maybe then, I should shut up before losing more frien...I mean before making more foes...

by Shazde Asdola Mirza on Sun Aug 08, 2010 06:45 AM PDTBoomerang:
You are not going to make a lot of friends around here by cursing the Qajars!
Reza Shah "the great" couldn't even sign his own name! All the country was run by a legion of Qajar princes, during most of his rein as well as that of his son. After a decade or two, both of them got tired of the old-guard and tried to "innovate" ... hence the two collapses of 1941 and 1979!
To understand this sargerd, you really need to study the three phases (almost like three generations) of our psychosis. That may be a bit difficult to accomplish from Haifa though ;-)
Boomerang, you're out of
by Sargord Pirouz on Sun Aug 08, 2010 03:01 AM PDTBoomerang, you're out of your mind.
My great grandfather and grandfather were ministers in Reza Shah's court. My great grandfather wrote the 1906 Constitution. My uncle and aunt served or represented Iran at the international level during the reign of Muhammad Reza Pahlavi.
So where are you getting this Qajar nonsense from?
Sargord BitterQajar,
by Boomerang on Sun Aug 08, 2010 02:54 AM PDTwho has yet to get over the destruction of the Qajar dynasty by Reza Shah, can't help his severe case of oghdeh and jealousy. What kills him is that Reza Pahlavi, where ever he may be in exile and no matter how insiginificant, is THE heir to the Peacock Throne, and not some vatan-foroosh luskkhor Qajar, who were by the way, the biggest effing thieves in the history of Iranian kingship!
This is Sargord BitterQajar's dilemma, he's still stuck in the 1920's! He longs for the days of Qajar corruption and incompetence! And so he roots and roots for the uber evil dictatorship of the akhunds so as to keep Reza Pahlavi right where he is, in exile. If his Qajar ilk can't have the monarchy, then neither will the Pahlavis!
