All you need is to scroll down a few inches and no problem. What is the thing with you guys. Don't watch if you don't like it no one is forcing you.

I have to agree with Salman! :-)

If there ever was a strong case for Hijab, this MUST be it! Nothing could be more holly and elevating for the soul than this piece of anatomy being smothered! ;-)

Read my post I did not say it has I said in time it will. You bet in time it will; attitudes change. In America 30 years ago the mention of open gays was shocking. The thought of an interracial couple would frighten most people.

Now gays are in the open and many states allow gay marriages. Interracial couples are accepted in many places. Before long gay marriage will be law of thye land. The same will happen in Iran regarding taboos. It will take a couple of generations.

This generation is set in its ways but they are not immortal. Next generation will be different. Their values are set by what they get exposed to. Internet allows people to connect and share values. New generations will not share taboos of previous one and so on. Just imagine facebook or IC. People read about others values.  I would say in 10-30 years  it will happen. What kept it static before was isolation with internet that is gone. Now people get much more sharing of values.

If you think that the

by pedramx on

If you think that the internet has changed our traditional society to the point that posting naked pictures has become a norm you are gravely mistaken... There is a difference between virtual world of internet and the real world my friend! in the country like Egypt which is more open and more people freely have  access to free media and internet picture of Alia has caused such an uproar. If you think ziba's picture is a norm and not extreme I respect your opinion but don't deceive yourself by thinking that your view is representation of Iranian society. Ziba has a right to express herself but her action is irrelevant to the struggle of iranian women for their rights and freedom… if she was doing this while she was in Iran you could have call it breaking taboo but posting naked pictures while you are living in a free society is a mean of self-expression at best...

Dear Rea

It is about getting over the taboos. I have no intention of any dating. But to show people there is a lot more than their narrow views. The world is a wonderful place. Islam puts a narrow vision on people.

I am amused so many people find this very moderate picture extreme. It wish they would visit some web sites just to get a taste of what "extreme" really is. Maybe it will make them a bit more accepting.

Mind you I was born and raised in Iran also; in a rather traditional family. But over the years I saw a lot of things. Which now allow me to tell between a political statement and true extreme . People need a wake up.

  • Fesenjoon: I said given a choice of Ali Ghassab and this lady I take her. Regarding the prophet is is indeed "lame"
  • Truthseeker: There are far worse sites than "mature women" on the internet. You might want to poke around a bit.
  • pedramx: norm here is for the internet not for Iran. As Iranians surf the internet their idea of norm will become more like the rest. As mine did.

The sexy prophet

by Fesenjoon2 on

So this woman is not sexy (or even beautiful)?

OK.

But I think we all agree that the prophet himself was one sexy package. The women of Quraish were falling all over him. Behold:

Now we know what you do when not on IC!   :)

You people know nothing about attraction

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

There are many web sites filled with sexy pictures of "mature women". Google  "sexy mature women" and you find plenty of sites. Men pay $$ to get access to these sites! There are very attractive women over 50. I dated one.

The one thing about it is you won't be hounded by police looking for older perverts. Besides 20 year old aren't all they are made out to be. I take a fine intelligent attractive 45 year old over a 20 year old immature *** any day.

Re: Full nudity is not extremism, it is just taboo

Rightly said there is nothing extremist about nudity. Full or partial or whatever. Hey all you "khoshkeh mogadas ha" if God did not approve why were we born naked.

Rea

Chapeau to the lady

by Rea on

Past 50, it takes a lot of courage.

Yet, am not sure it's the way to go. I'd rather leave it to the 20-yrs old Egyptians and Ukranians.

To cut the long story short, there are other ways of attracting attention and selling one's work. If at the age of 50 we, women, got no other weapon but our hanging body parts, the battle is lost in advance.

First of all it was very funny and I did not flag it :-) In fact it is one of your posts I really got a good laugh out of. Whoever flagged it has no sense of humor. But I got to say I take this lady over Ali the Butcher any day.

Full nudity is not extremism, it is just taboo

by choghok on

If she had silicon boobs and weared bikini and held a machine gun it would have been ok for many people and not extreme at all, although she would be holding a tool used for killing people. But if she stands as she was created by god if you like or nature if you like then some people say she is extreme and it is not right of her.

It shows really that violence and hypocracy is something acceptable in the world and nudity is not.

You EXPRESSED yourself. But funny thiing is that you are STILL inside the box. How come?

200 Years from now we might understand Ziba & Aliaa !!!!

by mrramin on

Maybe they are just ahead of their time.  So don't sweat it people.

Any kind of SELF EXPRESSION is a BEUTIFUL THING.  To me, these two fine ladies are showing ART.  Unfortunatly in our culture we are NOT encouraged to express ourselves.  MAYBE that is why we are so culturaly behind other countries.  All we pride ourselves are Hafez & Saadi.

So People, get with it.  I know it might be hard to think outside of the box. TRY HARDER.

Aliaa & Ziba you have my Vote !!!!

I find pictures of Iranian murdering blood sucking  Bedouin vile. Why do you post pictures of Ali the butcher. If I have to put up with his ugly face then you put up with her.

I never find them attractive. Much worse if you add an unshapely body to it.

You are really going overboard. It is not up to you to define beauty; you who thinks Ali the butcher is a thing to parade around. I have a better idea than hijab. Those who are not able to handle this

  •  Don't look at these pictures.
  • To be on the safe side wear protective goggles.
  • As a last resort *** out your eyes.

The truth is I bet a lot of repressed Islamists  are attracted to her and that is the real rub.  But don't know how to deal with the feeling s and get mad at her. For bringing out their own desires and the knowledge she would never have them.

Perhaps, it's best that you wear a paperbag over your head, or I might find your mind so sexy, I might want to jump on top of you and have your procreated litter to spread the genius.

This sister is proof that Hejab is necessary

by salman farsi on

After all who would like to watch this monsterosity except in darkness. In Islam women, as unsightly as sister Ziba, can work and enjoy their social and professional life without being ashamed of their body or in case they are beautiful, without being target of lustful men.

Now you see why hejab is so useful particularly for women with ugly bodies.

I get confused on what you said but I am too buisy laughing and Salman's post now. Let me get over that and I will get back to you.

Woman made man eat "wheat"? I knew it my mom once made me eat "Wheat Thins" it must ave been devil's work! But I thought "cheese food" on it was the real devli work. What about "devil's food" cake my mom also made me one of those once. Is that also work of Satan or is that a different religion.

Really what kind of idiot would not eat wheat. Am I supposed to starve. I thought it was apples I am to avoid. Anyway keep your misogynist *** to the desert where it belongs. Another cheap shots from the **holy book of greaat desert.

The fact that neither of them are supermodel material by contemporary Western standards, as I said before, is the bit that I actually like about them and is one of the most effective things about the photos.

You think a woman body is ugly but that Ali and Hossain aren't. You got very strange tastes I find pictures of Ali the ugliest of them all.

I haven't got a problem with it, what I'm trying to do is figure things out, by scribbling bits and pieces and I'm wondering what the desired effect is and what the effect will be. It might just burn out or with the internet, this might well spread over to Geishaland.
