Held after mother killed

Evin Prison Warden Assadollah Ladejavardi holds Mostafa Rajavi, the son of Mojahedin leader Masoud Rajavi and first wife Ashraf Rabi'i. Rabi'i was killed in February 1982 along with other senior Mojahedin members when their safe-house was raided in Tehran.

"Mahdor al-Dam" means someone whose blood is wasted ... someone who has moved against Islam, and thus, can be treated in whichever way that suits the Muslim leader.

Lajevardi had obtained a Fatwa from Khomeini that; all those political prisoner were Mahdor al-Dam, and so could be treated in whichever way that their wardens saw fit.

Just imagine setting loose a pyschopath on thousands of young boys and girls ... with a free hand to do what his inner devil desired.

That was the EVIN prison, where Lajevardi ruled supreme in 1980's.
