چندین خبر از فشارهای جدیدی خبر می‌دهند که در آینده نزدیک متوجه ایران خواهد شد. اتهام مربوط به توطئه سپاه قدس برای ترور سفیر عربستان سعودی تحریم‌های بین‌المللی جدیدی علیه ایران را فراهم آورده. گزارش احمد شهید گزارشگر مخصوص سازمان ملل در باره حقوق بشر در ایران بار دیگر کارنامه سیاه و مشحون رژیم ایران را در معرض دید جهانیان قرار داده. و گفته می‌شود آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی اتمی بیش از هر گزارش پیشین بر گمانه نظامی بودن فعالیت‌های هسته‌ای ایران انگشت خواهد گذاشت.
