A longtime CIA officer who spent 21 years in the Middle East is predicting that Israel will bomb Iran in fall, dragging the United States into another major war and endangering U.S. military and civilian personnel (and other interests) throughout the Middle East and beyond. يکی از خطراتی که آينده سياسی جامعه ی ايران را تهديد می کند اين است که روحيه خستگی اجتماعی و اقتصادی و بلاتکليفی سياسی که بر جامعه حکمفرماست خيلی زود تبديل به فرهنگ قهر و خشونت و نفاق ملی شود و خيلی ها به اين نتيجه برسند که برای مرهم گذاشتن بر زخم های چند دهه گذشته بايد زخم های جديدی را به وجود آورد>>>

همیشه در این اندیشه بودم که چگونه ممکن است مورچه ها له نشوند و خوب می توانم بیاد بیاورم که این سوالی که ممکن است به نظر برخی بی اهمیت بیاید چگونه در افکار من جایی برای خویش باز کرد. نشسته بودم و مورچه ها را با انگشتهایم له میکردم و از این کار در آن عالم کودکی با داستانهایی که در مغزم راجع به این حشرات بدبخت ساخته بودم لذت می بردم>>>

It’s been raining in Tehran for two days and the Alborz Mountains have been covered with small amounts of scattered snow. In the U.S. today they held the much contested mid-term elections where the Republicans have taken over the House. I try to stay out of the election hype and now the post-election results because here, in Iran, I am now leading my own political party—The Green Card Party and I have started a new movement: The Green Card Movement>>>
