Today I spotted the latest in the subtle arrival of Muslim Singles and Muslim dating ads on Iranian.com. These contrast with the big busty hendoonehs on the girl of the new MEET SINGLE PERSIANS ONLINE! ads, whom I have come to love from afar. For the first time I find Iranian.com fulfilling both my internet needs in one site. Although typing one-handed is slower.

I was just about to post a really thoughful entry just now, and as I got logged in, drained the last sip of Peets, and settled in for a knuckle cracking go at it, I completely lost my train of thought.

You see I happened to glance at the new large, tempting, volumptuous, ads for Iranian Singles, and for some strange reason, now I can't get Dolly Parton, breast feeding, and my old girlfriend "Rosie", out of my head.

Oh well, I'm sure it will come to me sooner or later.

Although separated geographically by a few countries and even more kilometers, Iran and India actually have many things in common. For one, the real rulers of the roost appear to be the women, as Indian women and Iranian women more and more defy the millennia-old male dominated hierarchy in arenas such as medicine, engineering and business. Traditional docility and it's hot cousin, coy submission, are being merely laughed away and more and more gender-based taboos are fast being broken by this proving-to-be-better and braver half.

Once upon a time there were a people called Iranians, who had a rich and vibrant culture. Poetry, wine, women and song flowed like... wine. And everyone was happy and drunk, and spoke poetry and sang songs and drank wine and had like these 5 really hot girlfriends who would stroke their grey beards in like these beautiful gardens, and pour wine for them, even though the men were like pushing sixty.

I haven't been hit by this much shit since the dotcom boom when I tried to buy bananas from webvan.com!
