In the name of God the compassionate, ever merciful

The protection, renewal or correction to the path of something that exists or is going somewhere is the key for its success.

Take for example an aircraft that has to transport important cargo many times to a variety of destinations over the span of many years and has to reach its destination precisely and safely if flown by good and seasoned pilots. If for example one is careless and uses incompatible parts to repair it or have just anyone trying to fly it, it either crashes out of the air or reaches the wrong destinations.

At the time of the Egyptian revolution that toppled its ruler, Hosni Mubarak, the subject became a matter of conversation between yours truly and an American person that I knew. This individual was a decent person and a Christian with strong belief who had an open mind and heart towards Moslems and others.

Mercy (Addendum)

In special cases for example when Ibne-Moljam already struck the mortal blow to Imam Ali's (AS) head and Imam was dying, he authorized a merciful death for Imbne-Moljam. He was merciful to Ibne Moljam because he knew probably if he forgave him, some of the people out of anger may wanted to harm Ibne-Moljam later, beyond the limits set by the holy Quran. So he ordered an equal punishment instead:

Sureh Ash-Shura, Verse 40:

“The recompense for harm received (injury) is harm returned, equal thereto (in degree): ..."

Mercy

Mercy is an act of kindness and forgiveness offered to the one(s) who need it in cases of injustice or suffering. It generally stands for compassionate treatment of others, a disposition to be kind and forgiving, something for which to be thankful or alleviation of distress and delivery of relief.

Goodwill

It is one of the most important things for a human being to have goodwill towards other human beings. As believers we need to focus on helping other believers but also should not forget that the rest of humanity should be treated with goodwill as well.

Imam Ali (AS) had said:
"Remember that the citizens of the state are of two categories. They are either your brethren in religion or your brethren in kind."

Consultation (2nd addendum)

Some further thoughts on consultation:

During a consultation, some people out of caring and great concern express their strong beliefs when wanting to correct a possible mistake made by another. They should realize that a very carefully worded statement is far better especially if the consultation is not done in private.

A further note regarding the consultations for the Prophets and Imams is that those holy people like everyone else could and would consult with anyone regarding any matter if they wished to do so.

When a believer asks a consultant for an opinion about one’s self, for personal and privacy reasons it would be a good idea to seek trusted close friends or family members such as parents or siblings as a consultant.

In the case of the Prophets and Imams, it would have been inappropriate and unnecessary for them to consult anyone about their own self, unless the consultant was someone like themselves. However they did consult their trusted friends on the matters of the state, helping the public and similar matters.

People in America have a saying that indicates “Two heads are better than one”. That means that two people can solve a problem much better than only one person can, if they consult on it. In an extended form, if there are more than two people consulting on a problem, it would be even better. So this is a common sense idea that has been accepted by most people of the world.

As for a believer, consultation is considered important rather than just a good suggestion …

The followers of Imam Ali (AS) have always been under discrimination ever since he finally began his rule many years after the death of the Prophet (SAWW). As this Moslem yours truly believes, Prophet Mohammad (SAWW) is the last prophet of God, and Imam Ali (AS) is the Leader of the Believers and along with the rest of the divine Imams (AS) are to guide the believers to the right path and my belief will never change.

Love

When one speaks of love, immediately a caring person will bring the thought of their spouse, offspring, friends and their community and the rest of humanity in mind.

But for the real believers it goes even further than that. For them the highest form of love is towards God first. That is because it is the love and true understanding of their Creator that opens their heart to have true love and understanding for the humanity.

Oppression

Oppression, being a form of injustice, is generally accepted as the act of using power and or authority to keep others down.

Even though this seems like an abhorrent thing to do, yet there are many human beings which if given the chance they will do just that to other human beings in varying degrees, meaning that they become anything from a mild to a brutal oppressor.

As Imam Ali (AS) had said, "One who comes into power often oppresses".

Criterion

It is not one’s judgment or decision that makes them successful or a failure, but the standard by which the judgment or decision is made. All judgments, whether right or wrong, are made based on a given criterion. The criterion is derived based on factual or fictional, logical or emotional basis.

Namaz should be done 5 (five) times a day. Those who know what this Anonym stands for, would know that there is special reason for saying it! This may be difficult for some dear people who are used to performing it 3 times a day, but they must understand that it is my obligation to say this to you.

The one who believes in the existence of God the omnipotent creator and owner of all that exists, and his messenger Mohammad (SAWW), and keeps away from sin and do their prayer (Namaz) humbly is a believer. A believer who follows his/her religion, Islam, properly and in full understanding will be among the blessed and will be rewarded.
