The Fields of Laleh

These days my mind has been racing with so many images, thoughts, feelings, and questions, that I have trouble sleeping at night and fully functioning during the days. I try distractions that can momentarily remove me from the turmoil that I am witnessing in Iran, but somehow no matter how much I try, I find myself right in the midst of Vali-Asr street in Tehran where my loved ones, my brothers and sisters, are fighting for their rights with each passing day.

The Spirit of Saeed

I consider myself one the most blessed and fortunate people on this planet when it comes to having an extended family. They are the most amazing human beings on earth. This at least explains the reason why I have never really adjusted to having to live away from them and call anywhere else besides Tehran, my home.

Why Should WE Care?

Over the years, many times when I have tried to express my concerns about the living situation in Iran, I have often been confronted with the question “Why Should WE Care?”

The time has arrived for us not only to speak of our personal experiences that have shaped our lives around this matter, but also provide the list of reasons why the world should care about Iran and the atrocities that the people of that nation have faced for 30 long years.

Letter to the Publicist

I want to share with you all something incredible. I want you to see how the world is uniting with Iran and this movement for freedom and to what extent they are going to show their support. The support is not just at the rallies and on the Internet but also it's incorporated in people's every day lives.

I have made some observations about the Iranian people in my own little Chicago community based on the past 5 weeks and I would like to share my observations with you in the hopes that you will realize it will take ALL of us to make this change happen.
