امروز هفدهم دسامبر مقارن با هفتصد و سی‌ و هفتمین سالروز وفات مولانا جلال الدین محمد بلخی (رومی) می‌‌باشد. در غروب چنین روزی درخشان‌ترین چهره عرفان عاشقانه ایرانی به وصال معشوق جاودانی خویش نائل شد از این رو امشب را "عرس" می‌‌نماند که کنایه ایست از عروسی‌.

یادم میاد اون قدیما وقتی‌ هنوز مجله بانوان محجبه نشده بود یک سوالی را به مسابقه گذاشته بود. سوال از آقایون متأهل بود. هرچند هیچ وقت جوابی یا برنده‌ای براش پیدا نشد ولی فکر کردم بی‌ مناسبت نباشه که در استانه روز مادر یک کمی شیطونی کرده دوباره این سوال را از شوهران عزیز و پسران فداکار بپرسیم.

بمناسبت فرارسیدن بهار و ظهور تصویر خمینی در سفره هفت سین میر حسین موسوی و زوجهٔ گفتم یادی از امام مرحول ایشان کرده و دو قطعه از اشعار نغز‌شان را در مقایسه با غزلی از شیخ آجل برای انبساط روح خوانندگان بیاورم.

As Iranians in New York are preparing to "welcome" Ahmadinejad next week, we keep hearing a meaningless slogan: You are not my President. The most natural question that one may ask after hearing this slogan is: Who is your president then? Is he Mousavi? Karroubi? or perhaps you want to see Rezaie as your President? Why are those who are getting ready to protest Ahmadinejad's visit to New York so dishonest with themselves and consequently with the rest of the world? Why do you speak in codes?

While many of the global defenders of human rights, including Shirin Ebadi and Akbar Ganji, have maintained a total silence on the criminal attack on Camp Ashraf by the Iraqi mercenaries of the Islamic regime, Reza Pahlavi was the first political leader to condemn this barbaric attack. It is notable that Mr Ganji and Ms Ebadi waste no time to remind their audiences of Abu Gharaib and Gitmo but when it comes to the massacre of Iranians with different political idealogies they become deaf and dumb.

یکی‌ از شعار‌هایی‌ که سی‌ سال پیش در میان تظاهر کنندگان انقلابی‌ مرسوم شده بود همین عنوان این بلاگ می‌بود. میگویند این روز‌ها هم از گوشه و کنار این شعار شنیده میشود. آنروز‌ها به یٔمن وجود سازمان‌های متشکل و تعلیم یافته‌ای نظیر مجاهدین و فداییان اسلحه مثل نقل و نبات میان مردم پخش میشد. ولی این روز‌ها که به کمک آنها می‌‌آید؟

At last, a credible candidate with all of the best (as well as the worst) qualities of the four existing candiates has emerged and is going to save the day. He has the full support of the Supreme Leader and all four original candidates have conceded to transfer their votes to this lastest electoral phenomenon. You no longer need to be concerned if you are voting for the right or the wrong candidate.
