There was strong oppsotion in the 5th Parliament to making Iran a republic. It is thought that Vaez e Ghazvanie a newspaperman who was in Terhan to have a ban on his paper ("Nassihat va Ra'd") lifted, was mistaken for Mohmmad Taghi Bahar "Malek ol Sho-a-ra". Bahar, a member of parliament, actively opposed Reza Khan e Pahlavi's plan to end Qajar dynasty and make Iran a republic.  In the above photo Bahar is on the left and Mirza Yahy Keyvani on the right.
