Quite honestly, I have spent a long time within my capacity to research and look into allegations that the Islamic Republic of Iran has tortured its adversaries and I have found most to be based on very little concrete evidence.

Infact, IRI wholly relies on Islamic Sharia law which has its own understanding of human rights .Before, you start emptying your chest and yelling about post election abuses, we have to set the basis for understanding.

To present day Iranian leaders as well as a great majority of former ones, Iran's relationship with the international community especially the US is viewed in terms of a "wolf and sheep" example.

It is therefore not surprising that Iran has consistently failed in diplomacy and negotiations because these require some sort of a compromise. And compromise to Iranians is equivalent to being the "sheep", "bowing down", "zeleel". "khak bar sar" and "too sare khor."

I sometimes sit back and imagine, how wonderful if it would be if there were very advanced non terrestrial (NT)aliens that visit Mother Earth...

I remember the night before Imam Khomeini passed away. I was watching Iran State TV and they were asking people to pray for Imam's health. I remember vaguely a scene where worshippers were seated in large numbers in a mosque and saying Du'a.
Ah, I thought to myself, another Khomeini false health scare. They had predicted his demise and death more than 8 times in the country and newspapers I was residing in at the time.

In about two months, it will be one year since the Islamic Republic experienced its most disturbing phase. Large scale opposition rallies were held in Iran as well numerous protests by Iranian exiles in front of Iranian Embassies. Predictions were made...and most failed to materialize. The Iranian government was successful to put down or at least dampen the opposition's spirit by a crafty blueprint that included:
