Sham IRI rules for running for President- anything BUT FREE

Over the years, at least up to the last presidential elections, many Iranians abroad and in Iran were of the opinion that Iranian presidential elections were a manifestation of a democracy and freedom, perhaps not as much as in the West but close enough and good enough for the region.

However a close look at the rules reveals that the Presidential elections through and through in Iran have been nothing but total sham.

Let's start:

Fate of HODER awaits some IRI supporters in West

Many IRI supporters living overseas in the West think that their new freedoms and their allegience to IRI allows them to say what they want and what they feel like.

They pledge allegience to IRI in heart, yet at times put their own spin on things and advocate amongst other things the restoration of US-Iran relations for example (contrary to IRI policy).

Video: Agassi acts Persian, talks money $h_t

Body taken from Yahoo.com sports section:

Agassi has drawn criticism for goading Sampras into his impression and then unnecessarily taking a cheap shot by ridiculing his rival's alleged frugality (an accusation that Agassi himself began in his autobiography "Open").

On Monday, Agassi talked to ESPN.com's Rick Reilly and offered an apology:

Expect severe sanctions, Khamenie psychoanalysis and why Khamenie supports sanctions

It's not a matter or will sanctions take place or not. It is only a matter of time. There are a wide range of sanctions that are currently being discussed.

One set of sanctions would be implemented by the United Nations. If that doesn't come to pass, then there are sanctions that may be levied by the European Union and/or United States.

Godless Iranians In Diapora: Unhappy & unsatisfied

Too often recent Iranian transplants in Western societies or more so long embedded Iranians in exile feel a sense of liberation upon leaving the religious and traditional society in Iran. This often starts with their curiosity in finding out more about God. They question their long held religious beliefs (usually Shiite Islam). They start to flirt with athiesm and at times agontism. After a while you see them acting like birds that have been let out of a cage. They go to extremes; attacking their religious and traditional values.
