I am doing a project on eyes and the way that you "see" them in Iran. Do they become more important as you can not see the rest of the body like we do in western cultures. Or is it that it is a way of your life and the it does not have as much importance as my first impressions or the emphasis that I percieve..

I liked the comments that Reza Khatir has with his series called "The Eye".

I believe that this says - light of my eye... I am from the other side of the world in New Zealand and I am using this as part of a project on eyes and their meaning in different cultures. I want to understand what this phrase may mean to you..

I am attending Polytech in Dunedin New Zealand and I am researching a project and have chosen the term The light of my eyes. I have an acquaintance who has suggested that this is a term of endearnment.

I have also had the opinion that it is rude to stare at one's eyes as well..

I would love to hear your opinions about Eyes in Middle Easten Culture.
