I totally agree with Perian Trooper. I do not think it is right that Haji's family is insulted. They are not the ones drawing the cartoons. If you want to insult Haji that is your business as he did expose himself to such criticism but it is poor behavior to drag a person's family into it. I know things are difficult for you at the moment Hajiagha and that is why I shall excuse your women bashing. Once you find the right woman, you will have a better perspective on life. I know this because I used to do man bashing because I had a really bad marriage. Now, nine years later I am a very happy woman and hate no one. Just a note:  You do not need to be in a relationship to be happy and self fulfilled.  

Even in the US you would find that women whether single or married are the ones that do the majority of the decision making when it comes to the homes decor. Men just prefer not to have to choose color schemes and patterns.

There is nothing wrong with being in a relationship with an energetic, emotional, passionate, highly opinionated and independent woman. Do you really want a woman that needs to be taken care of all the time? Who wants a clingy woman that needs a man to make all the decisions in their life? Perish the thought. Would it not be better to have an equal partner? I think it is better to be in a relationship in which both partners respect and admire each other; working together for the greater good of the marriage. I kind of understand where HajAgha is coming from. I visited Vancouver few years back and went down to gas line district or whatever (where all the clubs and all happening spots are) and I felt like women out there were kind of snubs. They seemed very clicky and were not very friendly. Now I am a decent looking guy, grew up in California, went to High school in California, played 2 years of American football and 6 years of soccer in High school and college, went to university and graduate from university in northern California and all and all much more familiar with western culture, and western women than Hajagha. Now I am thinking to myself, if I felt like I was being snubbed by Van city ladies, I can just imagine how they would react towards Fresh off the boat, not so nice, not so good looking, not so charming , not so fluent in local language HajAgha!!! Give the guy a break. I think Hajagha is a good artist, I think he use to draw cartoons for “Gol Agha” which was a very respectable magazine in Iran. I use to buy Iranian caricature magazines whenever I was in Iran as a child and I think he use to work for “Gol agha” and maybe even “Tanz va karikator” . I am not sure but he can correct me himself. Haiagha is a cartoonist he is not a politically correct person. He doesn’t understand western society very well and he can’t function as good as many of readers of this site. Just let him draw his cartoons and make a little money and stop saying shit to his mother and sisters… now I am not saying not to criticize the guy. You can call his work garbage and even question his views and even make fun of him for it but calling off his mother and sister and calling him homophobic remarks….I don’t know about that. They are many homosexual Iranians that read this site, what would they think if they see this kind of gay-bashing in this site? But Hijagha some of your work is very offensive to women. All women. You really need to learn were to draw a line between provocative and insulting.
