Haji is a good cartoonist and the suggestion below for hire a cartoonist sounds good. You guys think he is sick and in need of therapy or sex or money or other stuff. If tomorrow he wins the lottery and get a lingerie model as his girlfriend, he is still going to draw these cartoons. That is what he likes and money is not going to change it. As far as monarchist and having american democracy in Iran, lets face it american democracy is great but even here people don't want some of it, like violence and sex that is abundant in TV and they don't want their kids exposed to it that much. Now we have kids obesity, they advertise so much junk food that kids are now sick now. What is the crown jewel of democracy in america? Porn. right? so you want the full democracy but not the porn? that's what haji is trying to say. he's saying to those who complain to him so much that look where you are and what you are saying and be true to yourself and others. Who do you think are the political prisoners in Iran? They are students, journalists, women activists and those who deal with daily problems of living in Iran. Not monarchists, communists or others. Monarchists are all outside Iran and should they return if they are true to themselves they should have this flag as their flag. At least they can get some attention this way.

In your last comment (3 below mine) you expressed a desire to find a job that would be suitable to your experience. In a nutshell it boils down to coming up with some creativity. I am certain other Iranians can help you as well once you market yourself the right way. Currently you seem to represent the anti-Christ in the eyes of many.

My idea is that you establish a simple account with www.PayPal.com and start advertising yourself as an artist like:

Hire-A-Cartoonist

Valentine-Cartoonist

Birthday-Cartoonist

Holiday-Cartoonist

Political-Cartoonist

Eventually you will need a good website but for now you can create a simple website on someone's server with a reasonable monthly fee.

Basically you will charge a fee to come up with a nice cartoon for person 'A' who wants to send it to person 'B' and they will pay you through PayPal account. For example if I want to send a birthday cartoon to a dear friend perhaps a funny one, I can contact you with the description, you give me a rate and if I accept it you will draw the sketch and show the unfinished sketch to me via an email and or just the final one and I will send it to the friend.
You can charge extra if the person wants to buy the original drawing as well which you need to sign and mail it to them. The more personal you create these the more it attracts clients. But eventually the whole process should be automated for mass market.

Let's assume you charge $2 per cartoon that you have in stock and $10 for a new drawing and $50 for the original artwork 8"x8" and much more for larger sizes that you might be doing for companies. So most people will likely go with the a simple $2 image. Or if they want something new to be drawn then then charge them $10 and the drawing can be placed in your database for future use at the $2 rate. All these prices are hypothetical so don't get stock on that.

At first you might think that this is not profitable, but don't forget you will be building a huge database of many cartoons that future client can choose among and order and you just change the content for them -instead of happy birthday Mary it might say Jane or whatever or you can automate the process that they change it themselves and pay automatically and it gets emailed to them.

This will save people time and money to go to store, pick a card and mail. If your drawings start to be acceptable by the public (a far cry from where you are now) then you will have a good chance to use your talent in a business arena and format.
I can elaborate and give you free ideas if you would like to contact me in private at my email.

So far you have succeeded building a good number of people coming and seeing your work, now you should switch and use a business strategy to earn a living and tone down a bit to maintain a balance. You might be able to advertise for yourself on Iranian.com at their standard rate as well.

They also license their cartoons URL for a period of time such as one year, etc. They seem to be located in England.

Not to discourage you but personally I don't think going to Los Angeles is a solution for you. It would be identical to if Amir Kabir accepts an invitation to go to Fin for a shower, put mildly.
All you need is one good job and you will find it where you are now.

I have no problem with freedom of speech

Although other than 40 billion dollars that dad gave me in Panama I have nothing else left except these two cuddly lions that are sodomizing each other now. I was planning to put one on each side of my picture when I go back to Iran someday and print stamps. Hajiagha ruined my dream "reed to royayeh ma".

I however encourage freedom of speech and expression as lon gas it is out of Iran.
