I too have suffered personal loss of life in my family due to "events". Perhaps that should make me more tolerant of the suffering of others. And I believe that it does. Perhaps I should be less skeptical of his excuses or reasons. But I think there are too many evidences of a sham on his part to be completely fooled. His words are contradictory from post to post. Perhaps thats part of the symptoms. But you are absolutely right that compassion is the key. And bless you for providing much needed compassion for Haji... whatever his afflictions. He does need help.
Thank you but I will be the first to admit that I am not perfect. However, I have tried to develop a great compassion for others. At first I thought it was a game for Haji and I was upset by some of his drawings but as time went on I realized it was not. His behavior was due to many set backs and terrible events in his life. I had a cousin that went through some terrible things in his life and in the end he died cursing the world and anyone near him. He did not have the support that he needed. He was my favorite cousin but I lived in the US and he lived in Mexico, I was not able to help him. By the time I found out about his troubles it was too late, he was dead. I have always thought, if only I had known. I might have made his last days better. I also have a family member whose husband served in the military. He was sent to Iraq for a year and he came back with nightmares and some odd behavior from time to time. It was really hard on her but he is doing better because she loved him enough to help him through it.
I have had some personal set backs myself and some major obstacles to overcome. I was blessed to have friends and family that care about me. Haji does not have this.

You must be a saint! It looks like you've been visiting iranian.com now for some time and you're still so patient with the likes of Haji! Everyone has their own version for the reasons of his issues and why he attacks women (and everything else for that matter). I've gone from thinking this was simply a game for him to wondering if he actually does suffer from some kind of "post" syndrome from his military service days. It's disturbing, to be sure! But your's is the first comment posted that actually reaches out to HIS sensitivities! Is that the secret to reaching him? I'm looking forward to seeing his response. I've got to say... you're a brave woman....LOL.
Haji I want to take this opportunity to apologize, if I have in any way insulted you. It was not my intention to offend you but when you start saying that all Western women are without any intelligence or morals, I kinda lose it. I will do my best to be more objective when posting any comments. I have enjoyed viewing the cartoons that did not have any derogatory comments or images of women.
I went through my thought process on how to install the Farsi. I know that in the Language Tab where it says In text services and input Language, I clicked on Details and it pulled up the Settings tab. It gives you default language.
In preferences I also selected the following:
Show the Language Bar on the setting.
Show additional Language Bar icon on task bar
Show text on language bar
It acttually installed a language bar on the upper right corner of my computer and when I want to right English or French or Farsi it automatically gives me access to what I need when I click on the language I want. It is pretty cool.
On the the Regional and Language Options if you have the menu drop down on what language you want your computer to work on it automatically changes a lot of things on your computer to do so. Maybe you have to select Farsi temporarily and then go to the steps I gave you so that you have access to the Farsi and then access it at the language tab.
Let me know if it sounds good. You can always go back then and change the original settings to English language.

Yeah... I've noticed quite a few. But god forbid that you mention such a thing online. I got my butt handed to me because I "suggested" that the vulgarity wasn't necessary. I totally agree on the equal partnership and passion in a marriage. I came out of a long term marriage with no passion. It was such a drag. I refuse to be in other marriage without passion and equality. I have no problem with letting the man lead but he better know where we are going. He needs to be smart, wise and strong man. I think all men have something annoying about him but hopefully the rest of the good things he does will out weigh the bad. lol :o)

You don't EVEN want to get me started on what a Persian man might want...lol. When I find out, I'll let you know! We both came out of very passive long term marriages with one goal in mind... a relationship based on equal partnership and passion. Well, we got it! We're both very Type A personalities and I think it was a shock to realize we couldn't push each other around. After a long self-analyzing period... I realized that it is probably more important for HIM to feel stronger as a man than it is for me, as a pretty liberated woman, to exert my independence. I'm very partial of course, but sometimes I look at my husband and think to myself that he's the most beautiful human being in the world. Of course this is usually followed by "what an ass" when he leaves the seat up. There is a great deal of truth to the fact that Persian men treat their women with honor and respect (forget the current regime... that does not reflect on any of the Persian men I know). I honesty can say that we've experienced very very little conflict as a result of our different cultures. I'm excited about learning more Farsi. I need to learn some good cuss words...lol.
I will check out the website you mentioned. So Farsi is the language of love, interesting. I have always heard Spanish, Italian and French as such. I guess when I do get an Iranian boyfriend or husband I too will add Farsi as a sexy language. Ha! Ha! :o) Good for you. Hey! I have an idea Tonya, how about you write an article on what an Iranian man wants in a woman and wife? I sure would like to know. Yes, I think Iranian men are attractive, I admit me. Why did you leave California any way?
Haji as much as i like your cartoon i think you jumped the gun a bit actually a month and 4 weeks. You have a good point though - that rich people have so much to eat that their leftovers are enough to feed at least 2 families. Your cartoon reminds me of back in the early 1900's to the 1950's when the railroad trusts were getting the bigger portion of the pie. In fact because of that several (smaller but still bad enough to hurt our economy) depressions occured which led up to the great depression. Intresting Fact. Your cartoons are sometimes hilarious and sometimes actually correct i am not saying that your works are all bad just saying that maybe you should not just scrutinize one area in the world but scrutinize the entire world of a whole. It might be intresting to see the effects. well i am for you and please people if you want to insult him ok but do not bring family into it. So please lets just keep this irrational bashing party to the writers and actual people who write here and keep the families out of it.

By the way my father worked in the construction area for over 20 years and was able to provide a comfortable income to take care of his wife and 5 children. Yes, there is a place where one can buy a keyboard. It is through amazon.com. There are a couple of options. The keyboard they have is listed as Farsi, Persian-English USB Keyboard for $49.95; there are also stickers you can buy which they list as Keyboard stickers, overlay labels for $12.95. The ones I ordered were the Farsi (Persian) Keyboard stickers with Black lettering on transparent background for $1.99 + $4.99 (Shipping and Handling). On the one I bought you have to remember that it will only work well if your keyboard is white because the black script will stand out better.

In particular people like Cos-tarica since there is a good opportunity to export falshlights to that country and make some money (hence their koss is tarik and you need a guiding light).
Of other good places perhaps is Columbia which is basically the Afghanistan of the South. Good places to get some dope....

You “want to see some British naked body” you better draw them yourself instead of ordering Hajiagha what to do. What the hell does this suppose to mean “Haji always talks about the Americans because he himself gets a small pocket money from the British consular office in Canadian city where he lives.”? If you are so knowledgeable why couldn’t you remember where he lives? Hajiagha does not need any assistance from any government because he is demented enough on his own.

Your travel plans to central and south America
by South Am. Tourist Bureau (not verified) on Mon Oct 08, 2007 07:19 PM PDTDear Hajiagha, Central and South America offers lots of beautiful places to live but not much of job opportunities however.
In particular people like Cos-tarica since there is a good opportunity to export falshlights to that country and make some money (hence their koss is tarik and you need a guiding light).
Of other good places perhaps is Columbia which is basically the Afghanistan of the South. Good places to get some dope....
Let us know if we can make a reseravtion for you.
Thanks,

My answer to Colon Cancer
by Kolnish Wasser (not verified) on Mon Oct 08, 2007 06:53 PM PDTHi, I see what you mean. I did not want to say where Haji lives out of fear of assacination attempt on his life! Now you disclosed it and you have his blood on your hands.
Mr. Colon I think you forgot that your head is up your rectum and a tight grip keeps you away from thinking right. If I wanted to explain what I meant then I had to start with you guys at first grade. What I said rang the bell among the elites of the Iranian politics. You will only learn if you listen for many years and read. Iranian politics in complicated and I charge $375 per hour to teah it.

P.S. Hajiagha, you need to start drawing Queen's pictures too. Americans have been out of Iran for 28 years. It is the British that is running the show in your homeland.
God Bless Qua La Lampur

by Colon Cancer (not verified) on Mon Oct 08, 2007 06:24 PM PDTYou “want to see some British naked body” you better draw them yourself instead of ordering Hajiagha what to do. What the hell does this suppose to mean “Haji always talks about the Americans because he himself gets a small pocket money from the British consular office in Canadian city where he lives.”? If you are so knowledgeable why couldn’t you remember where he lives? Hajiagha does not need any assistance from any government because he is demented enough on his own.
any ideas about south America
