The biggest poverty one can possess is being uneducated and lack culture and etiquettes.

We need to learn how to laugh at ourselves. This slogan doesn’t indicate that Iranians are less of human or unworthy, rather it makes some humor from the truth. There is nothing Anti-Iranian about this picture/slogan, and quite your non-sense. Democracy or freedom of speech in a true sense means “TOLERANCE”. If you don’t have it then you are the one who is anti-Iranian.

Liking a piece of art is a matter of personal taste. This art is not funny to me.

As for the content, yes, most Iranians are very interested in coming out of isolation, but I doubt any Iranian would say "Goh khordeem," because the general attitude of Iranians is not one of blame for themselves for what happened with Iran-US relations, or for any other malady they feel for that matter. They blame others for this.  I should like to remind you that most of the people who live in Iran today were not born on the days when those slogans against US were brandished on Tehran streets.

The IRI leaders might say the same regretful sentence but not most Iranian people, because they believe they were not involved or responsible in the matter.  That was my point.  If the art showed the IRI leaders saying this, it might have been both true and funny.  Maybe if the caption had said: "Goh KhordAN?"  I don't know.

Very very funny... and true! Not only is anti-Americanism dead in Iran (compared to the time of the revolution), but government officials are building more and more contacts with American counter-parts. Attitudes have changed dramatically. That's why the new slogan is spot on funny.

It was neither funny nor true, because Iranians inside Iran don't actually believe this. They might believe major mistakes were made and they might not be enthralled by the IRI, but 30 years of propaganda against USA has also been in operation, affecting and shaping the Iranian psyche. At best Iranians are cautious in approaching the issue.

I will never will understand

Why people who hate the west (i.e. America, Canada, European countries) DO NOT go back to Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other middleastern countres and live there and use their brand of detergents!

These people need to get off their high horse, there are many faults with our country (i.e. ex country) as a whole, false pride at the wrong time is not going to change anything.
