On numerous occasions during my last trip to Iran, I saw signs for the offices of "surjens", "surjeons", etc.
right cop. and it's college of science not faculty. at least in american english. have you also noticed that all the meidoons in tehran are called circles in english signage whether they are square-shaped or circular?
I mean those right now are still beating up on Pahlavi. Meanwhile reveling in their wonderful revolution.
If you don't know the language, get someone who does before making a sign and installing it.
